I’ve noticed that buses, especially the ones that run between Phuket Town to Patong, are often overloaded and I am worried that this may cause an accident. Why are the drivers so zealous about getting passengers? Surely, the number of passengers should not exceed the capacity of the bus, especially when the journey is over a dangerous road such as Patong Hill. Something should be done about this before an accident happens. I don’t believe 15 baht per person is worth the loss of a even one life.

Poor Passenger, Phuket
This is the first time I have received a complaint about this problem and I thank you for bringing it to my attention. I will look into the matter immediately and check who the [bus] operator is.
