What is the Thai governement’s position on the issue of disarmament?

    Matthew Hindmarch.

The government’s policy is one of controlling the number of guns in Thailand, rather than disarmanent. Currently, until June 30, no gun licenses are being issued. The government will decide whether to continue the suspension after that date. People who believe they really need to own or to carry guns may ask the governor for permission.
