Immigration letter expiration dates

I recently went to the Phuket Provincial Immigration Office (PPIO) to obtain a letter verifying my address, so I could present it to the Phuket Provincial Transportation Office the following week when renewing my Thai car and motorbike driver’s licenses. Yes, it’s correct. The letter verifying your address has on it the date on which the letter’s validity expires. The expiration date will always be the same as the date that your current permit to stay expires.
